We love the Vetro and even in such difficult times we always get TOGO from, we are very satisfied every time and also like to award 5 stars here. We also have our son's baptism Celebrated here a few years ago and ours Guests and we were very satisfied. TOP SERVICE; TOP AMBIENCE, TOP VETRO

Good food, good ambience, friendly staff, but also has its price but not overly top

Restaurant with a great ambience! Very friendly staff, it's a shame that Corona is ruining this pleasure for us. Looking forward to finally being able to eat there again!

Very tasty food, I can only recommend it. The food is optimally packaged when it is picked up and can be sensationally enjoyed at home.

The hambient was very nice. We received a friendly welcome, nice service, price ratio not so appropriate. Waited 1.5 hours for the food. But then apologized and even handed out a wine.

I was very pleased. Everything was right.

Top location, professional waiters, delicious food and really good wines

Table for two already reserved on September 29th. Yesterday the reservation was confirmed. Arrived on time today and waited a few minutes for an employee to be seen at the reception counter. They then asked for the reservation and offered a table in the middle of the room, across from the entrance door and reception counter, with the information that so many guests had come today and that only this table was free now. (A maximum distance of one meter to all people entering or leaving this place would have been permanently undercut.) When I pointed out that I had made a reservation over 2 weeks ago, another table was offered for 50 minutes. Since we didn't want to eat just one dish, we refused and left. The food is basically good but not outstanding either, the service and the planning are, as shown today, a disaster. For us, all further visits and orders have been done.

We could sit on a spacious terrace with a view of the greenery and enjoy our delicious food. The nice waiters were very friendly and competent. It was busy but not too busy at noon. It wasn't our last visit. ???

Very fine location with Mediterranean cuisine and an exquisite selection of meat. Tip: Tagliatelle in a parmesan pot tossed with beef fillet tips. We received very good advice and ordered the waiter's recommendation. It was great. The recommendation was Fiorentine rump and fillet steak with linguini and chanterelles with aiolli. The efforts should be emphasized From Mr. Ervis to create a special treat for us. A successful evening. We will definitely be back.

The food was great. But: family with 2 children at the next table, who were constantly walking loudly and still coughing (without masks!) Through the whole restaurant; no reaction from parents or employees. Is an absolute no-go in corona times.

We are disappointed. Why this restaurant is so hyped is a mystery to us. Probably some Dortmund soccer player was eating here and since then the Z-VIPs of Dortmund have been running and everyone who thinks he is a gourmet goes here. We like to spend money on good food, but we came here with more expectations. The ambience is nice, but not "classy" as it is labeled on Google Maps. During the evening we were not asked if we would like to have a drink. When the main course was cleared, I had to ask for the dessert menu. Even when ordering the dessert, I had to draw the waitress's attention to me. The portion sizes were desirable. My truffle linguine should be served directly at the table with a parmesan slicer. This was not included for € 20 .... The food was ok. You have to wait a long time for the food. One could infer that it was freshly made. However, we are unsure. The tiramisu was made with cream and not mascarpone. Air conditioning or some fresh air would be appropriate, as it is quite warm, despite the cooler weather. Service is by far friendlier. We will not come back.

We went there for the first time on Friday evening and were totally curious to see whether the negative reviews would come true. This is the first Google review I am writing because I have to say that we have not experienced anything like this. We were well looked after, the staff was young, but very hard-working and attentive and we were completely satisfied. Both the starter, main course and dessert were really tasty and the timing was also very good, so we were particularly excited. So just give it a try, we will definitely be back!

We went to this lovely restaurant for the first time on Sunday. After we got a seat we started ... We were already waiting for the first contact with our waiter over 12 min. The restaurant was only lightly occupied and there were almost 5 waiters. So it went on unfortunately .. Here is a short list ... - no spoon for the soup .... we had to wait 9 minutes for it ... soup only lukewarm - Bread with the soup when the soup was already eaten - Dessert menu required at the end .. Came relatively quickly ... But unfortunately nobody came to take the order. After 23 minutes (!!) after several attempts we asked a waiter at the table and asked for the bill. - a factual complaint led to a free coffee and schnapps The waiters were all very friendly ... The food was delicious ... But everything was very uncoordinated ... Unfortunately, that kind of messes up an evening like that. The complaint management was very good .. And nice ... But it shouldn't come that far. People do something .. The place is great. The staff has to be trained ... Otherwise you will soon close ... The other reviews all say the same thing ... Too bad .. Really.

Great food. Great service. Highly recommend. Just a short walk from the HIE hotel near by. Owner has great taste in cars.

Food was great but the service is lousy. Waiters seems too busy and hectic, didn't even pay attention to the customers. No smile or small words coming from their mouths. Have to wait 30 minutes only for the bill. Definitely not worth the money we spent. Actually we had a plan to have private party and already asked 2 times whether we can see the room but seems they don't care. Bad experience.

Food very good

Slightly slower service, but very knowledgeable staff and spoke very good English. Food was great, well presented and tasty. Atmosphere was OK, just started to get busy when I left. Location, although out of the main part of the city it's next door to a U-Bahn station so perfectly accessible. Cost: extremely reasonably priced. Good meal had for €20 I will be returning when in the area and would definitely recommend it.

Eh, calling it really slow service might be compliment - you feel like a ghost is more like it - completely ignored; but... maybe sometimes is ok to take it easy and slowely... When it comes to maint thing: great italian food, best taglialatela with parmigiano and truffles, ever tried. Quite unique way to serve it , as well - they roll over huge parmigiano cheeze (must be 100kg or so, probably keeping it in safe somewhere...) and assemble the dish right in front of your table. :)

Nice place, wonderful meals. It was really enjoyment.

Slow service. We entered the restaurant at 18.30. It was quite empty inside although the rear terrace was full. Ordered fish soup which came after a reasonable wait, and two pizzas (this is an Italian restaurant after all). The tables next to us an either side filled up and ordered, and were served two courses while we still waited 2 hours for 2 pizzas, which when they eventually arrived were soggy in the middle. One was finished with a cranberry sauce straight from the fridge which did nothing to enhance the experience and chilled the pizza quickly. It is nine years since we last visited Vetro, our next visit will take even longer!
